If you are not sure who Jesus Christ is or if YOU deserve to know Him. I encourage you to open that door of communication. He has room for each of us. He is our brother and even our best friend! I know He has become mine. He is the prince of peace and our advocate with the father. I find great and intense calm just thinking of His role in my life.
I want to keep my post fairly simple to avoid making my readers carve out an hour a day to finish. So let me just share with you the power that comes with seeking His friendship. When going back to identifying our personal road blocks, we all have a spiritual road block to some degree. I hope to bring to light the reality of the true, almost taste-able peace He offers. I say taste-able because in my life as a co-parent, there are moments of great anxiety and longing for my sweet 3 year old Haven. It is easily the most difficult thing I have ever had to do. My Savior gives me a strength I couldn't have imagined in those moments I have to say bye to my girl- The sweetest, most innocent and fragile person in this world. I watch her struggle with feelings of guilt, sadness, confusion and her own longing as her dad and I rotate visits. It is heart breaking and yet the atonement heals. I can get out of bed on the days I feel I have no purpose because a spirited little voice isn't yelling, "Mom! I need to go potty!" I can fold her tiny little shirts and sort her tiny little socks because He is with me. He is whispering truth in my ear that she is happy, she knows I love her and even more important than that, He loves her and has a plan tailored for her. Worry and doubt can so quickly consume me if I do not turn to Him. I just want to help open the minds of those feeling like it is impossible to overcome such personal daily issues, that the atonement is NOT only for sin. It is the single most powerful element in this life. If I can heal from the pains of having a broken family for my baby, He is there to learn what you need. Give Him that chance. Let him place peace and truth in your heart and mind. He will cure the anxieties and fears associated with this day and age.

Introducing my vision, my hopes and the purpose of my brand. I have been dying to start not my first, not my second, but my third blog! Even though I lost connection with the other two blogs over time, I have dreams of reaching a broad variety of readers and touching lives through sharing my experiences. I chose to take it to the next level and not only blog but create a brand.
I am naturally a very hopeful person so I want to use my talents and gifts to RECLAIM my divine potential to face trials, triumph and help others do the same. I am so excited to explore my own growth, as well as my readers' growth. Certain experiences in my life have given me insights and lessons learned that I feel my Heavenly Father is prompting me to share in hopes of helping a fellow traveler. I named my brand "RECLAIM" because that word really embodies where I am in my life and what I hope to accomplish on and off the internet. Reclaim the person I was pre-existing this life, Reclaim the Light Christ sent me here with and Reclaim those natural qualities that will transcend who I am. As a mother, a sister, a daughter, an ex wife, a friend, a child of God and especially a woman of today I am definitely under construction. With my brand I am going to RECLAIM my independence, my strength and my right to build myself in the face of adversity. It has become my passion to help women from all walks of life do the same! I added "Mindful Scrolling" to the brand description because there is SO much social media out there--so many distractions! And mindless scrolling can lead to an idle state. I want to add to the positive, uplifting side of the internet. I want to create a place where my readers can go to feel some hope when they are in the waiting room at the dentist, avoiding their kids in the bathroom or dodging a bad date ;) The online world is so accessible! What we invite into our minds through the internet will truly make or break our success. If I can change even one life I will feel that I am doing my part to further the Lord's work. My goal is to open minds! Self worth and self image are really everything, so lets explore our mental, physical, social and spiritual health together! What we eat, watch, listen to and how we spend our time will define our level of happiness and self worth. I will be sharing simple but effective hacks to feeling better about who we are. I believe we as women never feel like it is okay to just embrace our mediocrity. Well I am here to tell you that's actually the BEST thing you can do! "Ms. Reclaim" brings both concepts together to add the third most important element. Ms. is a title of respect before a woman's name and I am choosing to respect myself and honor who I am! Every woman should see themselves as a Ms. and develop the mindset to overcome any adversity because we are worth it! I hope all my readers can adopt the brand and the phrase: "I am Ms. Reclaim! I am worth it!" The more I experience, the more I come to understand that we are not the victims of our circumstances but whether we become the victims of our own self doubt. Let's become friends--even sisters in a purpose. I hope to receive suggestions and requests on topics so we can all engage and build up one another through each of our unique struggles. I want to feature my readers and share their stories as well! I truly believe God helps us overcome hardships so we may open up our hearts to others and help them gain strength in our victories! So please submit your comments, questions and stories! Join me in Reclaiming your Ms. through mindful scrolling! |
